Track List

16bit/44.1khz [wav/flac/aiff/alac/mp3]

Repress now available in plain sleeve....

Crippling bassweight, synthesized eski pre-sets, rootsy chimes and steppas vamps collide on this 12" of future soundsystem artillery from a true dub musical legend.

TNT Roots' contribution to dub is seismic, almost dinosauric, but through some glitch in universe fabric, 'Mighty In Battle' is his first official vinyl release. As half of Earthquake - he's responsible the crucialest, darkest, most slept-on future dub to grace Bokeh ears. Long unavailable LPs likeRevelation in DubandDub Harder Than Steel make obvious an understated lineage flowing from 90s steppas down to jungle, grime, hardcore, darkcore, doomcore - all of the cores really. TNT and Earthquake's rightful place alongside those mystic giants, Iration Steppas, is more than assured by those that know.

TNT Roots has continued a solo career since Earthquake quietly folded in 2002, trading short-run CDr's on Ebay and the Blood & Fire forum. His music still survives on not-for-sale dubplates - pushed exclusively by legendary 90s sounds like Aba Shanti. Both 'Mighty in Battle' and 'Tears of the Righteous' feature on the 2017 CDrRaw Mount Zion Dub- which you can buy direct off Tony with only a little digging.

Both tracks are presented here inna try 90s 12" fashion with 3 alternative/dub mixes. The eye-popping 8-bit lion gif sleeves were personally screenprinted in London-town by Patrick Saville (with manual labour assistance from Bokeh Edwards).
