Traumraum welcomes Patrick Zigon for his first solo outing on the label. After 14 releases, it's high time for a strong sign of life from the label boss, so the Berlin-based artist decided to present his third studio album, 'Between The Lines', on his own imprint.

Patrick's latest LP has biographical features, each composition carrying deep personal meaning and an expressive track name, inspired by the most significant events of the past two years of Zigon's multifaceted life - which he spent primarily in his favorite fixed points: Berlin, Barcelona, and southern Germany's Lake Constance. No wonder the 12 tracks are fully packed with strong emotions, most noticeably Zigon's signature mood: the melancholy that has always accompanied him and his musical creations.
It's certainly Patrick Zigon's most versatile album to date, stylistically rooted in Techno, House, and Broken Beats, yet surprising with Experimental, Jazz, and Latin influences. Despite its diversity, Zigon remains true to his lineage: consistently dreamy, dub-laden sequences with a gentle Detroit touch that have always been Patrick's greatest passion and most obvious trademark. More than anything, 'Between The Lines' is about the roller coaster called life: the ups and downs, and the correct interpretation of these predefined events. The obvious hides the meaningful - and truth can only be found between kicks, claps, and shimmering rides.
