Transcode is the latest signing on Amsterdam techno label Gem Records. Earlier releases on Stil Vor Talent, Terminal M and Respekt earned him recognition from across the board.
The collaboration was forged when label boss Secret Cinema remixed Transcode's 'Timestamp' late 2018. Gem Records will release a three tracker from the Manchester based producer. He delivers an edgier unique sound on A-side 'Dark Matter' and 'Shadowfax'. 'Abduction' is an absolutely lethal main-room banger.
With Gem Records set to release EPs by VNTM, Christopher Kah and Secret Cinema over the next few months, these are heady times for a label that continues to be rewarded for its consistent and innovative approach to contemporary electronic music.
