After YAKAZIs 10th release back in July, the label is back with a pretty interesting EP by the Parisian artist, Marwan Sabb. Founder of the iconic INSOMNIA nights held in the City Of Lights for quite a while now, Sabb is known for his trademark sound, that travels between both sides of the fine line that separates techno from house music. Two originals and a remix by the upcoming Colombian artist, David Gtronic. Bromance (Original Mix) is a percussive track, infused with a 90s hip-hopish vibe from the beginning, developing into a groovy, fun and very danceable song. The fact that it almost lacks melody make this a very versatile track for any moment on the dancefloor. Following, we have Shake Shuka (Original Mix), a more darkish, minimalistic and technoid track, that follows Bromances fashion of taking the melody away, enhancing its versatility thanks to the dark male vocals. Closing this EP we have Shake Shuka (David Gtronic Remix), in which the Colombian-born, Berlin-based artist turns the original into an alien extravaganza, with a more, adding a techy melody and more groovy and housy progression, turning it into a brighter track overall.
