Biotop proudly welcomes Whim-ee, the French first lady of raw Techno and House and Hollis P. Monroe, well-known for his memorable dance hymn I'm Lonely, which was released in 1997 on the legendary Stickman Records. Whim-ee already appeared on Biotop with a great remix for Patrick Zigon. Now she's back with a magical track called Magnets featuring the unique vocals of Hollis P. Monroe.
Whim-ee and Hollis met in rather emotional phases of their lifes. Fortunately, the exceptional artists found each other - and were immediately attracted to each other like magnets. They started working on some music in Whim-ee's studio in southern France. The result is the outstanding masterpiece Magnets, which brings together everything that the two friends stand for: raw and reduced house beats paired with emotional and meaningful vocals. The EP features Whim-ee's Favella Cut, and reworks by Patrick Zigon and Yashar Voltaire.
