''Deliverance can happen anywhere and anytime, it can find
you in a old dusty pub or just loom somewhere in an empty
train station''. This is the main idea behind the new album
from Berlin based composer Yair Etziony. The 6 th full album
from Yair Etziony is his most physical work to date; all
tracks in ''Deliverance'' have a specific dark tone and a
unique physical quality to them.
This is Etziony's first full album since he moved from Tel
Aviv to Berlin, and one can hear how this change of
residency changed his sound design and compositions.
The whole album has a darker, brooding energy to it; one
might say it could fit as soundtrack for a dark science fiction
movie. Using a wide array of instruments and tools from
modular synths, vintage Roland gear and state of the line
software, Etziony created a unique pallet of sound,
connecting ideas from the 70s 80s to now days.
