The Synesthetic Octet is a Vienna based ensemble that plays music written by Vincent Pongrácz. The compositions are inspired by hip hop, Jazz, contemporary classical music and current developments in underground culture. Uya is their third studio album and features the expressive lyricist and singer Renee Benson from New Orleans and eccentric dada-rap artist Synesthetic IVO.
