Gábor Csordás is a versatile pianist who draws inspiration from different styles and projects. His piano style is influenced by the European tradition, but also draws inspiration from gospel, neo-soul and even electronic music or disco.
His breakthrough came in 2019 when he released his first jazz trio album "Swansong" on Hunnia Records with japanese bassist Noriaki Hosoya and american drummer Marty Risemberg. The album was a success in Japan resulting in a tour in 4 main cities (Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Shizuoka). This album is second trio album of Gábor Csordás. The original release was DSD only, this is the digitally mastered version, only available as digital. The music is contemporary jazz with all original compositions. It sits halfway between groovy music and more delicate "traditional" jazz with a strong melodic approach. There are long improvisations and in general the album is designed for dedicated jazz listeners.
