Formedin the summer of 1969, the Young Mods, a vocal quartet from Dayton, Ohio consisting of Tommy Henderson, Carl Dronaugh, Raymond Smith, and Ronnie Ditto cut their first record, 'Gloria', released on the 'Gang Land' label.
Their backing group consisted of future members of Slave, Lakeside, The Harden Bros and from the success of their first release, the Young Mods would spend the rest of that year on a nationwide tour opening up for O'Jays, Delfonics & Intruders.
In 1971, alongside their manager Wayout Willis, the Young Mods would head to Dayton's own Cybertekincs recording studio where they would record their follow up single, 'I Can't Hurt You Back' & 'Who You Going To Run, Where You Going To Hide', originally released on the Everblack label.
Several years later the group would return to Cyberteknics to record their third & final single released on Phil Mehaffey’s Dayton based, Pork label.
