Clara! and Pearson Sound invite Nídia and DJ Python to remix their summer 2020 single ‘Mi Cuerpo’.
Nídia's version is aimed at the dancefloor, with her signature grooves accompanying playful edits and splashes of colourful pads that surround Clara’s acapella. DJ Python's mix flips the original on its head, teasing out stretched vocals while decelerating the tempo to the low 90s, letting the heavy bassline and kick combo set the pulse.
Growing up in Portugal but now Bordeaux-based, Nídia's productions make frequent appearances on the respected Principe record label, as well as a varied array of co-production and remix credits. DJ Python released his second album ‘Mas Amable’ on Incensio earlier in 2020 to strong critical acclaim, and he continues to operate under multiple aliases from his home in Ridgewood, New York.
