Eluize dives into her experience with Depersonalization/Derealization disorder (DPDR) with her latest orbit on Night Tide. The unsettling sense that you're outside of your body and what is happening around you isn't real is translated via discourse between Eluize's rough grounding percussion and circuitous melodies. These contrasting energies give you the mixed feeling of simultaneously having your feet firmly planted on the gritty earth and free falling through the cosmos. Locked Groove intensifies the dynamic, scoring an orchestral mix with compelling counter melodies, rich horns and tender strings. Finally for full dance floor impact Eluize recasts the original into a four-to-the-floor No Nonsense Club mix. DPDR will appear as the soundtrack to Lili Koss' short film Nothing, starring choreographer and dancer Rotem Weissman.
