L.U.C.A. is Francesco De Bellis aka Francisco and he is back. Venus is finally following up his I semi di futuro long player and it continues telling the story of Edizioni Mondo. Immersing into the miraculous world of psychedelic rock and prog pop, new age synths and exotic library music, it works almost like a mini-album or a well-rounded compilation in itself. If you picture a movie score that crossbreeds Italian or Russian science fiction topics with Risky Business, you are nearly there. Five tracks that are as bold and balearic as they are beautiful and baffling, but most off all perfectly written and produced. Includes a space dance percussion peak re-mix by L.U.C.A.'s brother in sounds ROTLA. Good listening!
