Cy Gorman is a multi-genre, multi-instrumentalist, multimedia artist and producer from Melbourne, Australia. Here Cy (pronounced as in cy-borg) reveals another side of the hypersoul, genre fluid, technicolour sound of his forthcoming album 'Hiwave'. 'Clockwork' is the sound of wonder channeled through melody, voice and deep deep bass. The mood moves from charming and playful to ecstatic and finally reflective. The vocals, referencing a number of Cy's musical inspirations, are a duet between Cy and long-time collaborator Christin Deralas, whose credits include work on neo soul, spiritual jazz, broken beat and house tunes by Lance Ferguson, Menagerie, Bennson and others.
