Welcome to another previously unreleased gem by composer and multi-instrumentalist Enzo Minuti!
Recorded at Kronal's studios in Bologna in the mid-70s, Interstellar can be described as an album of library music about an imaginary space cruise, with all of the accompanying interplanetary discoveries, galactic menaces, and pulsing cosmic tension. In its journey among planets and stars, the Ezy Minus spaceship takes us from cosmic-disco pieces ("Spaceship Cruising"; "Starship Disco"; "Black Hole Surfers"; "Discovering Uranus"; "Planet Earth View"), through trumpet-led and nostalgic mariachi-style ballads ("Lifeless Planet"), to sinister scenarios and dangerous chases whose suspenseful moods are created using sequencers, synthesizers and drum machines ("Asteroid Trap"; "Alpha Centauri"; "Black Hole Tension").
Just get on board and enjoy the space ride. Bon voyage!
