Canadian soul queen Tanika Charles release the new single “Love Fool”.
Produced by Slakah the Beatchild (BBE records), well-know for his work with the Hip Hop superstar Drake, “Love Fool” is Tanika Charles' new single and is taken from her heavily acclaimed debut album “Soul Run”. The super soulful new single is built around a funky bass line in which Tanika showcases her impressive vocal skills and her boundless energy.
With roots in Trinidad & Tobago, Edmonton raised Miss Charles presents an immutable charm, at times endearingly abrasive and honest in her vulnerabilities. After the release of her debut LP “Soul Run” on Record Kicks, Tanika has been extensively touring in Canada and in Europe, playing some of the most important venues and festivals such as the “Trans Musicales” in Rennes and the “Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul” in Birmingham. In a few short years, Tanika has transformed from an emerging solo artist to a commanding performer and bandleader, a staple in the Canadian soul scene described as the “Coolest thing happened in Canada since Drake” (Uncut) and a “refreshing burst of all the familiar flare and soul of Motown” (AftoPunk).
