First Episode' is the ultimate work of duo Re-Arbeiten, Ziv Matushka and Natalie Bar. Previously displaying their vast array of complexities, this one facades a more introvert and delicate peak into their glitchy IDM-infused language. As often is the case with Matushka's productions, they manage to speak the most lyrical poetry using the harshest most elaborate grammar, and vice versa at times, a skill that's reserved only to the true greats. This is the duo's first album, and is one of three which will be released in the coming years. Ziv and Natalie sadly passed away in 2020 and this release is very much in their dear memory.
