Following the success of "Alessandroni Proibito", Four Flies is proud to release for the first time ever in digital format the full version of one of the 4 soundtracks from which the compilation box set is drawn. Directed by Paolo Moffa and co-produced by Italy and Turkey, "Lulù - La sposa erotica" (1977) is a wobbly softcore comedy with hardcore sequences. Entirely set among sexy harems and gentlemen's clubs in Istanbul and Paris, it alternates between voyeurism and burlesque. In contrast to the film’s silliness, the music written and recorded by Alessandroni is bold and effective, despite the little equipment (and budget) he had to work with – just think of his brilliant use of drum machines, which give off an experimental, electronic vibe that is hard to resist. The prevailing mood is easy-listening, but sprinkled with exotic and Middle-Eastern flavours, disco-funk rhythms, and even Morriconesque echoes. Another piece in the puzzle of Alessandroni’s filmography has finally been found.
