Aureon Records returns with the tenth digital release of its catalogue: an EP composed of two tracks -an original mix and a remix- featuring the presence of Mario Franca. The DJ & Producer from Portugal presents the new single "Titaning", which neatly represents his compositional skills, on the Ligurian label. The track is composed of an extremely solid and hard-hitting rhythm section, blended with breezy pads and a perfectly arranged harmonic section: some of the main recurring features defining his music. At remix duties, instead, here's Carla Valenti. The Chilean producer currently based in Barcelona, who spent several years in Brazil actively participating with her music in the underground scene of various cities such as São Paulo, Curitiba and Rio De Janeiro, gives her personal version of "Titaning" with her elegantly tribal touch, enriching the rhythm section with some slightly ethnic percussive sounds and keeping unblemished the melodic and harmonic traits highlighted by Mario Franca. A straightforward and -at the same time- elaborated record, remarkably archetypical of the high quality Deep/Tech-House sound of which Aureon has been a purveyor for years now. The Italian imprint, with the tenth release, also presents a new graphic line -by the Slovenian artist Nibera Visual- concerning the record's covers. At the center of the artistic theme remains the architectural, metaphysical dystopia, but strong, spacey and far-out colours are added, which paint a futuristic, abstract and esoteric picture that fits perfectly with Aureon’s sound.
