With its second single from a brand new album project, sneaky jesus continues to expand on their groove-oriented compositions on Chiński Sprzedawca Smażonych Kasztanów. This is a fusion of breakbeats, energized songo rhythms and motifs inspired by South African melodies. The composition was developed from an idea by Saxophonist Matylda Gerber. Presenting the group with spacious and rhythmic horn lines, guitarist Maciej Forreiter wrote a chord progression while Beniamin Łasiewicki and Filip Baczyński took care of the rhythm section. This idea is encapsulated from the outset. This first part of the track suddenly drops out and explodes into the dramatic main motif which includes double sax and fierce guitar playing in harmony, plus the rhythm section playing more and more jungle-esque. Powerful guitar and sax solos feature before we return to the main theme with a completely different rhythmic backdrop. Overall, this is the culmination of the band's fascination with afro and latin sounds with a slightly dark polish undertone and plenty of rocking rhythms from the whole quartet.
