'strangers' is a tune about the unifying force behind music played out loud to a group of good people. Nightlife can create places and moments that need no words. It can be a safe space to connect with others and yourself on a very different level. In the streets it feels weird to simply smile at someone but when you're dancing on the same floor, to the same music - it sometimes suddenly gets very easy.

This is the follow up to David Bay's latest single '1999' that received heaps of support by the biggest names, such as Purple Disco Machine, Jamie Jones, Diplo,... and even a retro-flavoured remix by Frankfurt's Lauer.

'strangers' is featuring a trumpet-solo, just like last falls 'Edits Best'-banger 'saudade' - Next to that it brings lush vocals contrasted by a straight-forward House-beat and a demanding bassline to the table. This tune sounds exactly like what it is about: The upsides of going out and the connecting power of music.
