From the Dark emerged from a live session at pinyonbay studio in Frankfurt with tenor sax, drums, electric guitar and bass, and was directly recorded there. This track between groove jazz, fusion, jazz-rock and free jazz impresses with a quite raw and energetic feeling due to the spontaneous session and recording situation.
