slowklang represents the youngest generation of jazz musicians and adheres to the credo:Music requires time!Musically, the young musicians create impressivesonic landscapesthat contrast with the fragmented media understanding of their generation. Their concerts offer a unique musical experience for all music enthusiasts – they are aninvitation to listen deeply, pause, and reflect.
slowklang stands for a generation that consciously turns away from speed and superficiality, advocating instead for music that allowsroom and time to breathe. A collaborative trio that collectively explores new paths while leading the deep roots of jazz into fertile new ground.
The Viennese trio pushes the boundaries of traditional song forms and plays withspherical, contemporary improvisation.
