"This journey started when I heard Schönbergs "Verklärte Nacht". There is this wonderful sound in the last few bars that ignited the idea. Without a goal I kept tweaking subtle details and adding more parts for months. This piece of music became like a diary for me. I got lost several times and needed some external input to guide the way. I am super happy that Christian Lillinger produced a part and opened up new musical possibilities for me.
