This combo is one of the most fascinating retro soul act ever came out from The Netherlands and after few exciting years passed on spreading soul tunes all around the country and turning heads, the Tibbs are finally ready to make their official debut on Record Kicks. A tasty appetizer of their upcoming debut album "Takin' Over" that will hit the streets next 20 of May, there's a limited edition double sider 45 vinyl coming out next 01 April. On the A side you find the scorching first single, "Next Time", an upbeat and irresistible floorshaking soul smasher able to rock every dancefloor. On the flip side there's The Story Goes a contemporary northern soul pearl. Based in Amsterdam, The Tibbs are a super tight soul revue fronted by miss. Elsa Bekman, one of the roughest and hottest young vocalists from the Netherlands. Believe us, you'll be immediately conquered by her irresistible and unique raw, gritty vocals. Founded by a bunch of northern soul and funk disciples in 2012, the Tibbs started taking inspiration from the golden age of Soul Music. In 2014 they've self published a demo EP and on the same years they've released a 45 vinyl on German funk label Tramp Records. Take notice, The Tibbs are the name to watch!
