Rodina is singer Aoife Hearty and keys man / co-writer from the New Mastersounds Joe Tatton and this track is taken from a new album "Good Company" coming out on vinyl in June 2025. It's the first album for 6 years from Rodina but past tracks from earlier albums received airplay on Radio2 Jamie Cullums show - "excellent - this will get you dancing!"
This first single "Trust in this life" is a 1970's funk, and Acid Jazz inspired journey groove featuring Joe Tatton on the Fender Rhodes and synth, Luke Flowers on drums, Sam Bell on Congas and Richard Hammond on bass,
The horns are Ray Butcher on Flugel Horn, Malcolm Strachan on trumpet and Atholl Ransome on flute. Comparable to some Herbie Hancock, Rotary Connection and 90's acid jazz enjoy this mini dancefloor acid-jazz odyssey!
