The full release of "Discordance" by Berlin-based French producer and keyboard master Le Commandant Couche-Tôt gives us the remaining two chapters of his love story, which started in the previous five singles released on Ouvo Records. Throughout the seven tracks of this EP, Le Commandant explores different phases of love, i.e. the excitement of encounter and beginning of the relationship, the difficulties of parenthood, as well as downs and temptations. The closing track "Amour For" displays love as triumphant and thus delivers a powerful outlook at the end of this journey. In "Discordance", Anthony Malka (given name of Le Commandant Couche-Tôt) seeks new musical territories, containing reminiscence of French disco, some childish anime like themes, hallucinated desert grooves and low-fi post house, all with the help of a whole bunch of talented friends and partners.
