Prefiguring his album 'Skin String Sine', 'Figures for Arcturus' is a double-A single in which Simon Pomery creates strings toward a specific star, and plucks the lines to that star, from Athenry to Palestine. These figures can be listened to together and apart. As can all figures.

'Figures for 113 Suns' was recorded in an old peanut factory on Fish Island in July 2025, Pomery's only companions the butterflies that visit the 4th floor through the window each morning. This is part of a new subset of figures addressed to Arcturus, in the constellation Bootes. 'Figures for 113 Suns' is music for an installation. The bass information stems from Pomery's reading, in a Manhattan gym, of the moon's exertion on liquid frequencies deep in the earth. ‘Figures for 113 Suns’ is made to blow you away, and away is a good place to be.
