Otro’s Peanut Ballads For A Lone Star is a forthcoming digital album, due for release on February 13 via Drowned By Locals.
The album is a collection of 21 short musical pieces recorded during a single clandestine overnight session in a recording studio in peninsular Spain.
Originally composed as cues for an unreleased film project, the works are brief, fragmentary, and closely connected, often flowing into one another. Their intimacy and restraint place them closer to sketches or excerpts than to conventional songs, forming a continuous emotional arc rather than a narrative one.
