Boiled Wonderland Records kicks off 2022 with a new compilation of deep club and warehouse music from the depths of Bangkok, 'Cognition'. The techno orientated EP delivers a dynamic range of techno and explores a full range of thrashing dance floor rythmns and groove filled kicks. The EP gets things moving with lead track Sarayu's 'Burnt Out', welcoming listeners with warm synths and down tempo breaks, and then progresses gradually darker, with artists like DOTT, Vell and Chalo all bringing spectacular tracks to the EP. Matu's '00100' at track six gives techno in its truest form; ripping up the tempo at 141bp Matu brings thumping kicks split with sharp flanged FX stabs to dramatic effect. The full EP finishes the journey through waving synapses and late night adventures before climaxing in ahivars' 'Opal', a euphoric transcendent floor filler.
