Volume 5 of the ever popular series of compilations from NICE UP! and it's another round up of the labels action over the last year or so, with big singles from Seanie T & Roots Manuva, Origin One, Mr Benn and Preacha alongside vocalists such as Rider Shafique, Parly B and Gardna with tracks spanning hip hop, reggae, dancehall, drum & bass, jungle and more!
As always there are some brand new and exclusive remixes included, most of which are previously unreleased. First up, US duo Folding City get busy with Origin One and Irah's huge "My Yout" twisting it into a darker grime/dancehall hybrid. Greek jungle badboy goes hard on Escape Roots "One Step At A Time" with a half time DnB recharge, whilst Numa Crew associate T-Kay turns up the heat even more on Mr Benn and Parly B's "Heat Up". More jungle comes in the shape of Conrad Subs massive remix of Sub Alpine & Natty Campbell's "Bubblin" - a tune that has been road tested at festivals all summer to devastating effect, while Swiss mash up don Max Rubadub gives Seanie T and Serocee's huge "Blaze Fire Bun" a heavy reggae refix.
