As part of Bass Clef’s reclaiming of his early material from the now-defunct Blank Tapes label, he presents ‘Zamyatin Renumbered’ an almost-album from 2007, now in its final form.
These tracks were originally split across two 12”s (confusingly titled “Zamyatin Tapes” Volumes 1 and 2) and one (unmastered) retailer-exclusive digital package (‘Zamyatin Digitsed’). The previously unmastered tracks have now been carefully restored by Joe Caithness, and combined with the previous vinyl-only cuts which were mastered by the infamous Jason of legendary Dubstep cutting powerhouse Transition Mastering.
DJ support at the time came from Aphex Twin, Thom Yorke, Charlie Dark, Domu, Metronomy, Ron Smith, Simon Harrison and Atomic Hooligan.
