The Peach Discs annual compilation is back for a third edition in 2023, featuring eight slices of the juiciest dancefloor material squeezed out of new and/or friendly faces from across the globe.

Starting low and slow, Kyoto’s Gunilla offers up a heavy piece of UK-informed 4x4 built around scanning synth lines and dive-bombing bass, followed by Fernanda Arrau’s shuffling, latinate ‘Ritmo Tropical.’ Things take a turn for the techy as Kepler’s ‘Effect’ and Stephen Howe’s ‘Body Heat’ tighten the drum screws amidst pinging bleeps and bloops, before the low-key euphoria of Nelson of the East’s Detroit-influenced ‘Chiaroscuro’ and Katiusha’s slowly flourishing piece of dub-inflected techno – eyes-down, tempo up. moodii and Dowd wrap things up in style with a pair of bumping, starry-eyed rollers.
