Adebowale and the Pioneers have hit the ground running with this authentic Afrobeat burner recorded in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria. “Kilofese” translates to “what do you want to do” in Yoruba; a phrase meant in direct opposition to government overreach in the life of the everyday person. The fierce horn section, heavy rhythms, and searing vocals tell the story well. On the back, we have a dance remix of their unreleased track "Unnecessary Visitor” by new production outfit, Bamia.
