すべての録音は、マーク・ヴァーノンが2011年から2013年にかけて、フォース・バレー・ロイヤル病院、ラーバート、スターリング・コミュニティ病院、フォルカーク・コミュニティ病院で行われたもので、MRIスキャン、麻酔器、人体患者シュミレーター・マネキンの呼吸、マネキンに取り付けられた心拍数、血圧モニター、音声治療装置、超音波乳化吸引装置、視野検査、超音波ドップラー音、ロボット薬局での手動補充、薬局のラベルプリンター、透析装置の動作音、歯科用X線撮影装置、ガイガーカウンターが放射線源に接近中の音まで、最新の電子音楽としても素晴らしく秀逸なる最前線の最新医療機器が奏でる、33の音の記録が収められている。ユニーク・テーマのフィールドレコーディング作品の最高峰としても素晴らしい。大推薦盤とさせていただきます。
